Nate Jensen has worked as a freelance artist since graduating from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Fine Art degree in 1990. He has illustrated for magazines and newspapers nationwide. He is the illustrator of ten published children’s books. He has painted murals as high as 60’ tall and as far away as Australia. He has animated for two feature films (Waking Life and Scanner Darkly) and for national television. His oil paintings have been exhibited around the world.

My goal is to practice my craft so that I do it well. All of my commercial art vehicles build my creative muscle and guide my technical skill so that when I enter the painter’s studio, I am free to let the spirit of oil painting guide me to creations reflecting my inner self.
